Mmmm...Rice Cereal

Finally, Mom and Dad gave us something to eat other than formula! It tasted a lot like formula, though - just more grainy.  They called it rice cereal. And they fed it to us on this thing called a spoon. We liked biting the spoon, maybe even more than eating the cereal.

Mia and Emma sit at their booster seats for their first taste of (somewhat) solid food...rice cereal.

It was fun to try something new. Just a little weird at first.  We had more on our face and bibs than in our mouth but it was fun to make a mess.  Mia wanted to eat straight out of the bowl, but ended up spilling the cereal on the floor.

We hope to get the hang of it, because the food Mom and Dad eat always looks so yummy! We can't help but stare at them while they eat.  Bring on the good stuff!

Mia wants to get her hands and the spoon in her mouth all at the same time.

Emma looks skeptical (as usual) of the cereal in the bowl.

No crying over spilt rice cereal.
